GOD First

What does it mean to “put God first?” I believe it means to live in complete deference, fully acknowledging and in accord with our Creator at all times. “Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven” is an advisement of how to live in accord with God/Creator/Holy Spirit/Universe.
I translate ‘kingdom’ to mean ‘consciousness’ so my habitation is in conscious awareness of the Highest Power constantly working in, as and through me and everyone, at all times, everywhere. This is the Altar of Consciousness where I live, no matter what may try to imply otherwise. (Yep, no matter what the Eff is going down.)
To start each day remembering and acknowledging “I AM BLESSED” is an activity I undertake to “put God first.” Walking out my door remembering and acknowledging, “God goes before me and makes perfect my path” is putting God first. When my clients call or come to see me, I remember “God works in, as and through me to heal, uplift and inspire. God knows and heals all. God speak through me. Give me the words. Show me. Let him/her/them feel your Presence, Power and Wisdom NOW!”
In all things: relationships, careers, finances… EVERYTHING, I believe our greatest opportunity is to “put God first” in all circumstances and situations REMEMBERING and ACKNOWLEDGING God is working right here and right now for the greatest possible good for everyone, including me. I trust God. I put all my faith in God to lead me, guide me, protect me, perfect me and to prosper me now. And so it is. Amen and Awomen.

Jesus in the performance of each “miracle” attributed to him
#1. Put God First
#2. Spoke STRONG words of TRUTH into the situation/circumstance
#3. Lived from that point on as it were done.

No matter what your belief is or religious practice, we are all children of the one great spirit. We should choose to honor all even those with different belief system than our own. Putting God first is what matters most.

Well said BE~LOVED Dawn. I completely agree. Putting God first in our encounters with others is to honor our Creator’s Presence, Power, Wisdom and Divine Activity taking place in them, too. 😉
